💗 A strong interview answer isn't always the most impressive one.

It's the one that gives the interviewer a reason to believe you can do the job.

Saying:
“I'm passionate about Web3.”
“I'm a fast learner.”
“I'm a hard worker.”

Isn't necessarily wrong.

The problem is that almost every candidate can say the same thing.

Instead, connect your answer to something you've actually done.

» Don't just say you're a strong communicator.
Give an example of something you've written, presented or led.

» Don't just say you're good at community.
Talk about a community you've helped grow or a problem you've solved.

» Don't just say you're a builder.
Show what you've built.

The goal isn't to have the perfect answer.

It's to make it easy for the interviewer to understand what you can do and why your experience is relevant to the role.

Before your next interview, take the three skills listed in the job description and prepare one concrete example for each.

You'll have much stronger answers than simply saying you're “passionate” or a “fast learner.”

💗 A previous rejection doesn't automatically close the door on a company.

If another relevant role appears a few months later, look at the opportunity again instead of assuming the answer will still be no.

Reapplying makes the most sense when something has changed: the role is different, you've gained relevant experience, your skills are stronger, or enough time has passed for you to be evaluated differently.

Even reaching the final round and not getting the offer doesn't mean you shouldn't return. It means you were already seriously considered once.

What you want to avoid is repeatedly submitting the same application when nothing has changed, or applying to every opening at the company.

A rejection is tied to a hiring decision at a particular moment.

Evaluate the new role based on where you are now.

🔈 Interview questions aren't always as straightforward as they sound.

When a recruiter asks “Why do you want to work here?”, they're not just looking for a good answer. They're trying to figure out whether you actually understand the company and intentionally applied.

“What have you built?” can tell them how you think, execute and explain your own contribution.

And “Tell me about your crypto experience” can quickly show whether your knowledge goes beyond the timeline.
