🚀 $OPEN Buyback: A New 5 Million $OPEN Cycle Begins

The broader market looks quiet today. Momentum is slow, most charts are barely moving, and overall sentiment feels bearish. Yet $OPEN is breaking the silence with a completely different energy. It’s already up more than twelve percent, and trading volume has exploded by over fifty percent at a time when the rest of the market looks frozen. You rarely see a move like this unless serious accumulation is happening behind the scenes.

✔️ Now the new five million $OPEN buyback cycle is beginning, and the timing couldn’t be more interesting. $OPEN remains one of the few projects executing real, revenue-backed buybacks. When a token shows this level of strength before the buyback even starts, it usually signals that the next phase catches the entire market off guard. This is how a strong long-term reputation is built in real time for everyone to see.

Crypto M&A volume grows to $8.6 billion

In 2025, the total value of mergers and acquisitions in the cryptocurrency sector reached $8.6 billion.

By December 23, the industry had recorded 267 deals, representing an 18% increase compared to 2024.

For comparison, crypto M&A volume totaled $2.17 billion the previous year.
🔼 RWA beats AI in returns this year

According to CoinGecko data, the most profitable crypto narrative of 2024 was AI, delivering an insane +2,939%, even outperforming memecoins. 🚀

🥇 This year the picture has changed.
AI hype is harder to sustain, while RWA (Real World Assets) keeps growing steadily and has taken the lead with +185% YTD.

📉 Fewer flashy launches, more real adoption — tokenization is quietly gaining momentum while speculative narratives cool off.

The big question: which sector will dominate next year?
📊 Strategy’s own annual performance tracker paints a brutal picture

Top performers this year were Google (+66%), Gold (+64%), and NVIDIA (+41%) — steady gains without signs of overheating. Major indices and Big Tech also closed in the green.

On the other side of the spectrum: BTC (-6%), IBIT (-6%), and especially MSTR (-47%).

The takeaway is clear: the company with the largest Bitcoin exposure underperformed Bitcoin itself.

Leverage, a high premium to NAV, and expectations that never materialized ended up hurting shareholders more than BTC’s drawdown.
Aave reaches new record in ETH deposits

Over the past year, Aave recorded its highest monthly revenue of $14.4 million in January, ending the year with $7.6 million.

As of January 2026, Aave’s total value locked (TVL) reached $35 billion, with the majority of funds deployed on the Ethereum mainnet.
