TLDR
Chaos was pushing for
1. Becoming the sole risk manager, removing LlamaRisk
2. Replacing chainlink oracles with their own stack.
3. Increasing compensation from $5M to $8M alongside these changes.
As of now - ACI, TokenLogic, BGD Labs, and now Chaos Labs, have left Aave.

Incredibly harder to trade now compared to 2, 3 or even 4 years ago.
Eventually, I think many traders/degens will do something similar: start working for teams they believe in. And we have to distinguish between product and token. Plasma, the token has been down only. But from a business perspective it might do all right (tbh, I havenβt checked numbers, but since TradFi like the project I assume the future might be bright).
Oh, and why will they start working there? Because they realize that the edge they had are getting compressed by a gradually more efficient market. The outliers will still be independent, but I think this will be a growing trend.
