Why are bitcoin and crypto dropping?
In the last few hours, bitcoin is down over 5%, and big coins are down 8%-10%.

It’s estimated to cost less than $10 million to make, much cheaper than ChatGPT.
Today, Deepseek became the #1 free app on the Apple App Store, beating ChatGPT.
Right now, ChatGPT is valued at $157 billion, but Deepseek is worth only 0.2% of that.
This is worrying big US investors, who think the stock market is overvalued, so they are selling stocks, causing the market to drop.
