ThunderCore is an interesting project with ambitions to improve blockchain as a whole. The development for ThunderCore is currently in the pre-release mainnet stage, with mainnet planned for Q3 2019. The project is being developed by an impressive team of 60 people, mostly based in the San Francisco area.

Especially we would like to highlight Elaine Shi who is a prominent thought leader in the academic blockchain space. The only concern we have with ThunderCore is the huge valuation before the launch of the mainnet. Although, we can see a bunch of strategic partners and advisors who have deep connections and substantial experience in the blockchain arena to help ThunderCore to deliver their plans.

@RavenProtocol is kind of projects that you rarely meet nowadays. It is a community driven project with an engaged team of true decentralization enthusiasts.

Raven is building a decentralized Deep Learning training protocol. Today, the process of training AI/ML models could take weeks and even months to complete while the costs for computing resources usually are far beyond that most of small companies and groups of developers can afford.

To change this, Raven lowers entry barrier by reducing the compute power required from the contributor, thus the cost of acquiring specific powerful CPUs and GPUs to train DNNs becomes minimal. The concept of sharing idle computing power to facilitate training saves the enormous expense involved. In return, the contributors are compensated/rewarded with Raven tokens .

The team is focusing on fast-paced AI training. For example, a 1M image dataset that takes 2-3 weeks to train on AWS will be reduced down to 2-3 hours on Raven.

We want to highlight the team behind the Raven, these guys are true enthusiasts who are running the tech forward. Raven is run by a small team of 8 people led by Sherman Lee a prominent thought leader in the blockchain space.

Trias Review by Midgard Research

Trias is a very techy project that is pretty hard to understand for a regular investor but that is what makes it outstanding. It is clearly visible that a lot of time was allocated by the team to conduct the research which is already a good sign. We see documentation being clear and logical. The team definitely has all the skills to deliver the product they are promising. The Testnet is up and running with the Mainnet being around the corner. The tokenomics clearly benefits IEO investors with most of the private sale tokens vested during the year, such an anti-dump mechanism is vital at the current market conditions.

We have our bets on Trias and will try to participate in the upcoming IEO.
