In any kind of investment, there is always a short-term and a long-term view. This is the nature of human being to concentrate on short-term decisions; young and highly volatile cryptocurrency market is definitely not an exception.
Everybody wants fast returns, but venture investment industry has never been fast. Usually, venture capitalists wait for years for the product to be developed, and only after that, they can expect to exit the investment.
Why should blockchain venture investments be different? Cause of current hype! Greed and marketing tools matter now. But it is already changing! The first signs are here!
More and more projects extent lock-up periods and cancel the crowd-sales being able to raise funds from a dozen of venture capitalists. Why? Cause these investors are long-runners, who do not dump tokens after they are listed on exchange!
So, you have always been concentrating on fundamental metrics of the projects, which definitely matter in the long-term. The new-stage of ICO market is coming. It's not only about MVP, hype, and promises now! It's time for ICO teams to show what they can really do and make their products work. This is where your long-term metrics matter.

Ferrum aims to offer the solution to transact value between blockchains. Imaging situation when you buy coffee for BTC and merchant receives the same value in EOS or Euro instantly. The team claims that they have shown a demo of BTC-ETH exchange on Consensus 2018's Proof of work pitch and were selected as finalists. The video will be published soon. The team is very solid. Sparkster 7 out of 10 by Midgard Ventures

We have mixed feelings about this project. On one hand, they receive a lot of hype, have good tokenomics, and they have a production-ready product. On the other hand, the whole idea behind the Sparkster is weak. We don't believe in block programming as a way of creating professional and stable software.
So, our “high” rating (7 points) is mostly due to short-term investment prospects.
