LUKSO Overview
LUKSO is an EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) and PoS (Proof of Stake) Blockchain focused on mainstream applications for fashion, gaming, design, and social media, as well as brands and the coming virtual social world. LUKSO will serve as the ecosystem for this new wave of dapps and protocols, built on the foundation of new standards.
Lukso was founded by Fabian Vogelsteller, who was a part of the Ethereum Foundation from 2015 to 2018 and authored the ERC-20 token standards, and Marjorie Hernánde, who joined EY in 2016 and established an innovation lab, before founding LUKSO project in 2018.
Fabian Vogelsteller proposed a new form of ICO in 2018 called Reversible ICO (rICO). In a Reversible ICO buyers reserve tokens and then buy those reserved tokens over a period of time (e.g. 8 months) automatically. During this time buyers have the option to return still reserved tokens at any time and receive their associated ETH back. The Reversible ICO was checked with BaFin, the highest regulatory authority in Germany, and is in accordance with German security law.
Main purpose of the LUKSO project is to allow developers and creatives to dictate the distribution of wealth and influence from lifestyle activities, have Universal Public Profiles, create Digital Identities and Certificates, and build Tokenized Communities.
LUKSO will be the first KuCoin Spotlight project in 2020 and will have an exclusive pre-sale on the KuCoin Spotlight program on May 20, shortly before LUKSOs Reversible ICO that will take place on May 27.

According to the Staking Rewards USD value locked in staking more than 6 billion USD, while the Staking Market Cap (valuation of all projects that have staking mechanism) is currently at 14.7 billion USD.
We have prepared the list of projects sorted by the USD value of the staked tokens. According to the list, top 7: Tezos, EOS, Cosmos, Algorand, Tron, Dash, and Synthetics Network have at least 100M value of USD locked in Staking each. These projects in total have 5.1 Billion value of USD staked which is approximately 85% of all USD value locked in staking.
We calculated the ratio of staked coins to the circulating supply as well. The leaders are Tezos (95.4%), Kava(90.9%), Synthetix (80.9%), Cosmos (76.8%), and BitMax (72.8%).
Note: for Kava and Iris Network we took the ratio of staked coins to the total supply since these projects allow to stake locked supply.
