TOP 15 Blockchains platforms by daily active addresses (November and October average)
One of the ways to measure the month to month usage of the blockchain platform is to check the amount of average daily active addresses.
"Active addresses are unique addresses that were active in the network (either as a recipient or originator of a ledger change) that day. All parties in a ledger change action (recipients and originators) are counted. Individual addresses are not double-counted if previously active."
According to the infographic, Bitcoin remains to be the leader. Unexpectedly, Digibyte has taken the second place in the list this month, the number of active addresses has skyrocketed in November by striking 2065%. We also observed the upsurge in the amount of Digibyte daily active addresses back in October, as can be checked in our previous post.
Overall, the usage of Digibyte is very inconsistent according to the data. For instance, anomaly usage of Digibyte addresses was observed from 12 to 22nd of November with the peak at 4.3 million addresses on the 15th of November, while the most common number of active users was around 5k daily during most of the analyzed period.
Ethereum Classic holds the third position in November having more active addresses than Ethereum. Back in October, Ethereum Classic daily active addresses have soared by 580% and overtook Ethereum by the number of active daily addresses.
Overall, we can see that 10 out of 15 analyzed platforms have experienced an increase in the amount of daily active addresses in November, Decred, Cardano, and Ripple are among the leaders. This is an interesting observation given the major price drop in November.

Exchange tokens price comparison 1st November with 1st December
The whole market capitalization has dropped by 20% triggered by BTC price drop in the middle of November. Almost all the exchange tokens prices were negatively affected. The only exchange token that has had positive price performance during the analyzed period is OCE. Some tokens such as LEO, BGG, OKB, BNB, SWTH, and XBASE have lost 20% to 25% the same as BTC, but most of the exchange tokens have experienced a much bigger decline in the price.

According to estimates, TOP 5 exchanges (Huobi, OKEx, Binance, MXC and Coinbase Pro) are bringing in more than $20 million per month in revenue. The rest TOP 10 exchanges are bringing in from $4m to $13m that is also absolutely astonishing compared to the historical development of other traditional industries.
We can observe that Asian-based cryptocurrency exchange platforms are dominating the global crypto trading industry. Estimates put both Asian-based Huobi, OKEx, Binance, MXC, OKEx, Bitfinex, Upbit, Bithumb and others take over 50% of the world's daily crypto trading in the world.
Overall, our estimates can be fixed on trading/VIP discounts, market making, trading mining, and other factors that reduce the estimated revenues of exchanges. We will try to find the best model to fit the real estimated exchange revenues.
