Yearn Finance Exploited for $9M Drained From yETH LST Pool
Yearn’s yETH LST pool was exploited, resulting in roughly $9 million drained after an attacker was apparently able to mint infinite yETH. Around $3 million in ETH has already been routed through Tornado Cash.
The exploit involved several newly deployed smart contracts, some of which self-destructed afterward. The pool held about $11 million before the attack, though the exact total loss was initially uncertain.
