Recently there's been a scam ongoing which is serious threat to users who doesn't knows much about scams online and might be tempted for huge money offered by them.
Here's how they do this, (my speculation).
- They DM you wanting to buy your username for an enormous unusual offer.
- You accept the offer.
- They send you a link saying it's a confirmation.
- The page is a copy/phishing from the fragment.com.
- The page may asks to connect from the fragment and looks extremely real (even I was confused for a moment).
- But in the page when long pressed on the Fragment logo it should show fragment.com but it showes a malicious link which is definitely a scam.
Ultimately block these as soon as you see them.
