I will share you a tip on psychology. Actually not a tip. It’s common sense .
When you venture into a completely different atmosphere which was previously unknown to you. What do you do ? You panic , get afraid and have this constant tendency to get back into previous zone of comfort . Human brains are wired in that way and conditioned to be risk averse . Only the select few will be brave enough to venture fearlessly into the unknown.
So, how does it relate to traders ? Why did I mention this ?
Well , we are inches away from the ATH. We have never seen the prices for BTC above the previous ATH level. Natural thing is we cook up theories to defeat the bullishness of BTC at these levels . Especially short term traders. Why? Because we are conditioned to trade BTC capped by the last ATH and most of us are just afraid of the uncertainty that future holds for BTC incase BTC breaks the previous upside price cap .Hence our brains are wired to see the price get capped for BTC at 19k because that’s our zone of comfort because as traders , we tend to act on previous price data. The market is incentivising us to short as well with the insane funding rates . So, shorting here is more psychological than technical at this point. You need to understand that.
But I am a long term HODLER. I have weathered a lot of these storms , I have seen all these whipsaws and sentiment flips. That’s the reason I am this comfortable That’s the reason I have been buying BTC with cash from the 1k$ price levels every time an opportunity presents itself . That’s why I am still here and will probably be. That’s what differentiates a HODLER from a short term traders .
If you are both , you are pretty much invincible .
