⚖️WLFI threatens Justin Sun with legal action

WLFI, a DeFi project linked to Donald Trump, publicly threatened Justin Sun with a lawsuit after he accused the team of illegal conduct.

Sun had earlier said that WLFI was using users as a “personal ATM” and criticized the project after it took out a $75 million loan backed by 5 billion WLFI tokens on the Dolomite platform.

☎️ Everything is bearish… in Bitcoin terms

According to Rand Group, when major global assets are measured against Bitcoin, they’ve all been in a long-term downtrend since 2014.

This includes gold, silver, oil, and even the S&P 500.

📊 In other words: while traditional markets may look strong in fiat terms, they’ve consistently underperformed BTC for over a decade.

💡 Perspective shift — Bitcoin isn’t just another asset, but a benchmark that’s been quietly outperforming everything else.
🪙 Global money supply has reached a new all-time high: $121.9 trillion

Over the past two years, the world added another $17.1T in liquidity, and the money printer appears to be accelerating again with annual growth running around 7–8%.

Historically, excess liquidity eventually finds its way into risk assets:
• stocks
• real estate
• commodities
• and sometimes crypto

The big crypto question now:
when does at least part of this newly printed money rotate into Bitcoin and the broader digital asset market?

Only two players remain in the race toward the first historic 1 million BTC treasury:

▸ Strategy — the corporate Bitcoin giga-whale led by Michael Saylor
▸ IBIT — BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin ETF quietly vacuuming coins off the market

At this point the competition looks less like “who buys Bitcoin” and more like a multiplayer game of “who accidentally owns too much of the supply first.”

One side is powered by infinite convertible debt glitches.

The other is powered by Wall Street retirement money.

Meanwhile, retail traders are still arguing on Twitter whether BTC is going to $50K or $500K while these giants casually absorb entire exchange reserves in the background.

The real supply shock might begin when there’s barly any BTC left for everyone else.

🔥 One of Ethereum’s biggest evangelists just sold all his ETH!

David Hoffman — co-founder of Bankless and one of the most well-known public supporters of Ethereum for years — published a massive thread explaining why he exited his ETH position.

His main point:

This is not bearish on Ethereum the network.
It’s bearish on ETH as the main value-capturing asset.

Key arguments:

➥ Ethereum may win as infrastructure while ETH underperforms as an investment asset.
➥ The “ETH is money” thesis never fully materialized. Stablecoins, L2s, RWAs, DeFi apps, and TradFi integrations may capture most of the value instead.
➥ Unlike Bitcoin, which keeps BTC at the center of everything, Ethereum expanded into a huge ecosystem where value constantly leaks into applications, rollups, and external assets.
➥ Ethereum helped put dollars on-chain at massive scale… but that mainly strengthened the dollar, not ETH itself.

📞 Anthony Pompliano believes Bitcoin could be approaching a turning point

Despite trading more than 50% below its all-time high, Pompliano argues that the current bear market remains one of the mildest in BTC's history. Previous cycles regularly saw drawdowns of 80% or more.

Several on-chain indicators are already flashing levels that have historically coincided with market bottoms. Notably, the share of Bitcoin held at a loss has now exceeded the share held in profit — a condition that has often marked the late stages of bear markets.

Pompliano also dismisses concerns about Strategy being forced to sell BTC, arguing the company has sufficient dollar reserves to meet its obligations.

While high interest rates may continue to pressure crypto in the short term, he believes the long-term thesis remains unchanged: rising U.S. debt, persistent deficits, and fiat currency debasement continue to strengthen the case for scarce assets like Bitcoin and gold.

📞 The Trump family may soon get its own “crypto bank” in the U.S.

According to reports, World Liberty Financial is highly likely to receive a national trust bank charter, potentially becoming one of the first major crypto firms directly integrated into the U.S. banking system.

📲 If approved, the company would be able to issue its USD1 stablecoin directly in the U.S. and process payments on its own platform—without relying on intermediaries.

📞 Critics argue this creates an unprecedented conflict of interest, as the president’s family reportedly benefits financially from the project. Meanwhile, regulators have been accelerating crypto banking approvals in recent months.

📲 Is Michael Saylor's STRC becoming the next LUNA?

Not exactly — but investors are getting nervous.

Strategy's preferred shares, STRC, have plunged to $76.2, trading about 25% below their $100 par value.

The concern is simple: STRC pays an 11.5% dividend, meaning Strategy needs roughly $1.2 billion per year just to cover these payments. The company currently holds around $1.4 billion in cash reserves.

🔑The key difference from LUNA is that Strategy is not legally obligated to keep paying dividends at all costs. STRC holders can't force liquidations or trigger a death spiral.

Still, the market is starting to question whether Strategy can continue funding both its dividend obligations and aggressive Bitcoin strategy.

The biggest fear? If pressure keeps building, the company could eventually be forced to sell BTC to support its capital structure.

For now, it's not a LUNA-style collapse — but the risks around Strategy are becoming increasingly difficult to ignore.

Another dose of hopium for Bitcoin bulls

Historically, Bitcoin has never closed both June and July in the red. If June finishes negative, July has always delivered at least some relief.

Does that guarantee a rally this month?

Maybe.

The same pattern appeared in 2022, when BTC bounced in July—only to resume its decline and eventually print a lower low before the bear market finally ended..
📈 The forward PEG ratio for U.S. stocks has fallen to 0.80, a level that typically suggests the market may be undervalued relative to expected earnings growth

There are two possible scenarios:

🟩 Bull case: AI-driven earnings forecasts prove accurate, making today's valuations an attractive entry point before another leg higher in the S&P 500.
🟥 Bear case: Expectations are too optimistic, similar to the dot-com era, and weaker growth forces earnings estimates lower.

For now, corporate revenues continue to grow, and the U.S. economy has yet to show signs of a major slowdown. If equities continue higher, it could also become a positive catalyst for crypto.

Crypto doesn't always need stocks to fall—but historically, it has had a much easier time rallying when the stock market is strong. Until then, patience remains key.

One thing crypto keeps teaching me…

Narratives move first.

Worldcoin’s recent rally proves the market is paying attention to digital identity again.

Now I’m looking at what else sits in that narrative.

That’s how I came across $CCD.

Unlike most projects, Concordium combines:

• Zero-Knowledge identity
• AI Agent Registry
• Protocol-level accountability
• Privacy-preserving compliance

…all while sitting around a ~$50M market cap.

I’ve noticed more KOLs starting to talk about the Worldcoin vs Concordium comparison.

Could be one worth watching before the broader market catches on.

📞 U.S. institutions have been selling Bitcoin through Coinbase for nearly 900 consecutive hours, marking the longest stretch of sustained bearish sentiment in the past two years, according to CryptoQuant.

Such persistent selling pressure reflects extremely cautious positioning from large investors. However, history suggests that similar sentiment extremes have often appeared near major market bottoms, just before Bitcoin reversed to the upside.

While this doesn't guarantee an immediate rally, it does indicate that institutional pessimism has reached unusually high levels—a condition that contrarian investors will be watching closely.

📉 Bitcoin is approaching a potential Death Cross

The Death Cross, where the 50-day moving average falls below the 200-day moving average, is traditionally viewed as a bearish signal. In previous Bitcoin cycles, it has often been followed by declines of around 30%.

However, there's an interesting pattern: in past cycles, the Death Cross has frequently marked the final major drop before a new bullish trend began.

If history repeats itself, some analysts believe $50K could become the ultimate bottom of this correction. As always, past performance doesn't guarantee future results—but it's a pattern worth watching. 📈

📞 Most Crypto Tokens Don't Survive the Long Term

A study of 1,539 projects that entered the crypto market's top 100 by market cap paints a brutal picture: 71.9% are now effectively dead, either delisted or generating less than $10K in daily trading volume.

The median token lifespan is just 2 years and 4 months, while estimates suggest only around 15% of projects survive 10 years. Even reaching the top 100 is clearly no guarantee of long-term success.

The takeaway for altcoin investors? Crypto projects can disappear remarkably fast. Instead of blindly holding through multiple cycles, it may make sense to take profits during strong rallies, reassess positions regularly, and avoid becoming emotionally attached to a project.

Bitcoin remains a very different long-term bet—but even with BTC, risk management matters.
