Banking giant JPMorgan Chase has reportedly filed a new trademark application in the US for "JPMD." The filing states that JPMD will offer services such as "providing trading, exchange, transfer, and payment services for digital assets" and "issuance of digital assets." The broad list of services suggests that JPMorgan is exploring carrying out more of its financial services on blockchain rails, including a stablecoin offering.

3. Trump Media Files to Launch Truth Social Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF
Crypto asset manager Yorkville America Digital has reportedly submitted a Form S-1 registration statement to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a joint Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF. For context, Yorkville America Digital is a partner of Trump Media & Technology Group, the owner of U.S. President Donald Trump's media company Truth Social. According to the filing, the proposed "Truth Social Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF, B.T." would have a holdings ratio of 75% Bitcoin and 25% Ethereum, with Crypto.com acting as the custodian, execution agent, and liquidity provider.

5. Tron Looks to Go Public in the U.S
According to a Financial Times report, Justin Sun's Tron is looking to go public in the U.S. via a reverse merger with Nasdaq-listed SRM Entertainment. The report cited "people familiar with the matter" as its source. The deal is reportedly being managed by Dominari Securities, an investment firm with ties to the Trump family. 6. Paradigm Urges Jury Clarity In Roman Storm's Tornado Cash Case
Venture capital firm Paradigm has reportedly filed an amicus brief in support of Tornado Cash co-founder Roman Storm. The filing comes ahead of Storm's trial set for July 14. Paradigm stated that Storm's case could "dictate the future of software development in the United States." It argued that prosecutors were wrong to claim Storm's peer-to-peer cryptocurrency software constitutes illegal money transmitting, calling the government's position "contrary to the plain text of the law, clear FinCEN guidance, and decades of case law." It emphasised that the court must ensure the jury understands that for Storm to be found guilty, the prosecution must prove he was knowingly operating a money-transmitting business.
