Even two years ago, I was explaining that huge corporate giants can easily create their own blockchains. Why would anyone need to use Ethereum or some second-rate Starknet, LayerZero, if you can launch your own network for real-world solutions, for a product that already exists, and give people on-chain functionality while maintaining full control over your own network? Stripe launched Tempo. They don’t need Ethereum. If something goes wrong with ETH, functionality will be lost. But this way, everything stays under control.
And it’s only the beginning—I hope that 90% of projects and their tokens will be wiped out. After all, most of them are just laundering money for venture funds while pretending to provide some kind of solution or play an important role. The same story applies to SWIFT. At some point, all the Ripple cult followers might be in for a rude awakening if it turns out that SWIFT builds its own network for cross-border payments

This isn’t really encouraging — it’s actually disappointing. The Altcoin Season Index is now at the same levels as during the peak of 2021. With hundreds of thousands of tokens on the market, there simply isn’t enough liquidity to push altcoins even x3. The situation, my friends, is quite bleak. Open this index and check the timing — back then, most of the altcoin movement was already coming to an end within about a month when we reached these levels.
Still, I hope this cycle will be different — and it has already proven that several times — but it’s better to build realistic expectations without wearing rose-colored glasses.
