What is Market Capitalization/Market Cap/MCAP?

Market capitalization in crypto is the total market value of the cryptocurrency. It is calculated by multiplying the total supply of coins or tokens by the current market price of each individual coin or token.
Market capitalization is a key metric used to measure the size and value of a cryptocurrency and is used by investors to gauge the attractiveness of a particular coin or token.
And here we again understand that these metrics are conditional and do not give us a real understanding of how much real money is invested in the project! Why? An elementary example: if we have a formula for calculating the market capitalization of a coin, then it is always applicable!

Let's imagine that we create a coin with you with a circulating volume of 1 million coins! We do not distribute the volume into unlocks, but release all coins to the market at once! It turns out that we buy our coin on the market for 1 dollar and using the formula 1x100,000 we instantly get a market capitalization of the coin of 1 million dollars!
Although all liquidity is currently 1 dollar
The next buyer comes to the market and invests another $2! Capitalization 3 million! And now the first investor wants to sell the coin and take at least 10 thousand, but he cannot, since there is no real money and liquidity!
Therefore, for purchases and sales, it is so important that the coin gets to centralized exchanges where there is a trading volume! And we can realize our profit instantly!
Now we understand that market capitalization is an important tool, but unfortunately it is also not objective! But we can only work with the data that we have, so in any case, we need to analyze the potential of the coin with a realistic market capitalization in mind and follow our strategy!
