🖤The National Bank of Poland (NBP) increased its gold reserves for the fourth consecutive month in July.

👉 According to the DGP newspaper, 720,000 ounces of gold were bought last month, worth about $1.4 billion. This is more than in any of the previous three months. The newspaper calculated that the total amount of gold reserves held by the Polish central bank increased to 9.6 million ounces, or almost 300 tons.

👉 Monetary gold held by the NBP was valued at $18.8 billion at the end of July. It accounted for 10.4 percent of the central bank's official reserve assets.
