Cryptex is thrilled to announce the deployment of CCIP (Cross Chain Interoperability Protocol) by Chainlink on Base and Ethereum for MEEM, our upcoming Index of Memes.

Here's how using CCIP by Chainlink works:

- User approves MEEM via CCIP on mainnet.

- The user creates a transaction to transfer their tokens using CCIP.

- MEEM is withdrawn and locked up in a pool.

- CCIP network verifies the transaction and mints MEEM tokens on Base.

For transferring MEEM back to Base:

- User approves MEEM to CCIP bridge on Base.

- The user creates a transaction to transfer their tokens using CCIP.

- The bridge burns MEEM on Base.

- The CCIP network verifies the transaction and releases the locked MEEM on mainnet.

Today, the Cryptex DAOs Single Side Staking program has been extended.

12,655 CTX have been added to SSS for the next 3 months.

256,550 CTX have now been rewarded to DAO members who have delegated CTX for the purposes of voting and protocol governance participation since SSS program inception 10/7/2021.

1,201,197.47 CTX Governance Tokens are delegated for network voting. Quorum is 400,000.
