Cryptex v2 development remains fully underway. As we build, we’d like to publicly thank the Arbitrum, Chainlink, and Perennial teams for providing the Cryptex DAO both the technology and infrastructure to pioneer fully decentralized index markets the way we have always envisioned them.

We also wish to thank the Cryptex DAO protocol delegates, community members and CTX governance holders worldwide who will be governing all aspects of v2 for the DAO.

We will have more information around v2 in the coming days and cannot wait to share what we have been cooking for the ecosystem.

Introducing Cryptex v2:

Decentralized Perpetual Markets.

Long or short the entire crypto market cap with up to 20x leverage.

Available exclusively on Arbitrum, data oracles powered by Chainlink, built on Perennial infrastructure

The DAO will be rolling out v2 in stages and plans to incentivize usage of v2 for the ecosystem through its partnership with Arbitrum

Stage 1: You must hold 1,000 CTX governance tokens to be placed on the v2 allow list, opening April 3rd, 2023.



A few key points and highlights.

-Dates and criteria for stage 2 and stage 3 will be announced soon

-v2 will be entirely owned and operated by the Cryptex DAO.

-v2 will not be available to users in any restricted jurisdiction.

-v2 revenues will go entirely to the DAO Treasury with CTX used solely
for DAO governance and voting.

-v2 will begin with perpetual total crypto market cap. The DAO will launch several other unique perpetual markets to follow.

After speaking with the community, the Cryptex DAO is delaying phase one of v2 for one week while contributors work out last minute bugs and UI fixes.

Phase 1 of v2 will go live to holders of 1,000 CTX on April 11th, 2023.
