Okay, so communists believe in a classless, moneyless and stateless society in which the workers control the means of production.

Means of production=
Basically synonymous to private property. Private property are the assets used to fulfill a service or produce a good. Tools? Private property. Factories? Too. Apartments? You got it.
Private property stands in contrast to personal property, which are the assets used by you personally for your own purposes.

Classless= leftists differentiate between classes. Bourgeoisie and proletariat are the most popular ones. The class distinction is, that the bourgeoisie owns the means of production, while the proletariat doesn't. Leftists think that this is unfair, because the bourgeoisie hires proletarians to work with their private property and then sell the value of the work of the proletarian on the market, takes a big share (profit) and pays a part of it to the proletarian in exchange for their work (wage). The bourgeoisie profits without working, they just control the means and thus can decide how much they want to pay, while the proletarian doesn't earn the full value of their labour.

Moneyless = money is rejected by many leftists because it leads to hierarchy and limits humans in their development by favouring and only boosting skills that are economically viable instead of letting the human develop themself into what they want to be. Money also leads to alienation from your work, because work you do because you enjoy it is always better than work you do for money. In short: money hinders the potential of humans.

Stateless society: If humans are unreliable and thus need to be controlled to build a reliable society, how can few humans achieve this? Why are few people in power supposedly more reliable than all people in power?
The state is seen as an instrument of oppression (although mostly seen as still better than capitalism, since you can actually influence the state without having money).

The sad thing about the protests is whatever will happen the most probable outcome is that the taxes on diesel will be cancelled. You, know, instead of making them fair by taxing the corporations more than drivers and actually protecting the environment by additional regulations.
