Dario's worst fears are becoming real.

Peter Steinberger has been glazing OpenAI's Codex 5.2 and 5.3 models for the past 2 months - and lo-and-behold, he is now working with OpenAI as of yesterday.

OpenClaw has been an "OpenSource" project riddled with security issues (some natural, and some due to mindless vibe-coding), and always had an escape clause of being a hobby project. Now Sam Altman will be able to build a closed-source agent of his with 100% visibility over users systems considering the level of privileges the harness takes.

There is something suspicious about the MacBook Neo, it hides something in the surface.

Apple had to make cheap phone-chip based systems that are highly functional for desktop-type work - which clearly is due to the RAM and Memory shortage (creds: AI Datacenter).

Generally, tech industry tries to copy Apple for trends + Chinese makers copy their tech anyways - the R&D always happens first with Apple.

It almost feels like MacBook Neo is a little wormhole to make the Chromebook (edge compute) market bigger than it is, and normalize not owning your own compute power. Unsettling.
