In my opinion, fitness standards in Indian cricket have dropped massively over the years.

There was a time when Ishant Sharma used to bowl 7–8 overs in one go, long consistent spells with intensity; and that too over multiple days. But now, we see bowlers struggling to complete even 5-over bursts.

Take Bumrah for example; if he’s not fit enough to play an entire series, then why isn't there a focus on improving fitness, especially when he's playing the entire IPL season without issues?

I get it; his action is tough on the body. But I’m not questioning the injury-prone nature, I’m questioning the overall fitness standards. This wasn't the case a decade ago. It needs attention.

One common thing you guys can observe from last 2 games is

Even after continous fall of wickets batters kept scoring runs at higher strike rate

This help the team to go past 180 in worse to worst scenarios

But the main question is will they go with the same approach in qualifiers ?

all the bowlers with accuracy and longetivity have been bowling in the lower bracket of 'fast' since they started

and talking about action,ntini had one of the most unorthodox actions for a fast bowler,still he bowled fast, accurate and for longer periods
stop the excuse, improve fitness or cut down on pace

No Axar here is the biggest blunder by the management. Axar has better bowling and Batting ability than sundar. Now at 6, you will have to set Reddy or Jurel. You already have 3 proper Pacers at the end, still you will go for reddy? I was expecting Axar to play at 6 with his spin (whenever needed obviously), in short axar as proper batter.

Now look at the pace options, We've got Bumrah and Siraj as our main bowlers. Assuming Bumrah to play 3 and Siraj to play 4 matches here. Also Lord Shardul had a great tour in England when last time we came here. Selectors have cooked in this sector. Krishna is in red hot form, he also did well in last match of BGT which he played and now in IPL too. Akash Deep with his accuracy and variations was very incredible, though unlucky to not get big number of wickets. All eyes will be on Arshdeep because he is a great bowler who can swing the ball to both sides, I'm really excited to watch him bowl in England. [2]

If GT loses today then, pBKS vs MI will be a match whose winner will be qualified for Qualifier 1. (In short MI will have a very strong Top 2 chance)

If GT loses today, RCB can also reach Top 2 with just a win in thier last game.
Even RCB & PBKS both can finish top 2 if both win their respective games.

So it will be 2 interesting days after SRH vs KKR - the battle to finish higher.

Imagine GT in the playoffs playing with this form, especially with Kusal Mendis batting at number 3.
