"Captain" Gill should have gone for Tewatia if he just wanted to continue spin, that guy hasn't bowled since he has been out of RR.
If the ball is doing well with spin then Tewatia should be a no brainer the way Rashid is getting bashed left right centre.

LSG's top order peaking
Peaking but at the wrong time
This is exactly what happens when you're playing with extra batting and without pressure.

I believe players have started approaching GT's bowling with more caution.
Frustrated captain Gill doesn't have a plan B, which I've mentioned before.
If the bowling performance continues like this, I don't think they will even make it into the top two.

Even though sai kishore is bowling a bit defensive lengths since last 2 matches he is still better than lundshid khan this guy is getting exposed so badly this season bowls way to full and goes for a boundary and goes short of length. Worst bowler for…
He need to reintroduce variation in speed, trajectory, and length to get that mystery tag back.

Improvements have been seen in playing straight drives and straight lofted shots among many players this year.
Suryakumar has also started playing the straight drive well, and Marsh has improved his shots as well.
Blind slogging has decreased this year.

Loved the way how pant backed himself and came to bat at 4
Any other cap would have doubted himself after looking at that scorecard & conditions

Gill will likely try to attack from the very first over.
It’s up to Sai; if he manages to score runs from the start, GT is likely to win.
If not, we know Gill struggles to capitalize and gets under pressure.
I want to see a masterclass from Rutherford today!

I was waiting for Gill to lead the Orange Cap race. He is just 3 runs behind;
the vice-captain spot is locked for the T20I team.
A high-caliber player, he cannot be compared to Water-boys.

GT's top order struggled for the first time, and Akash's brilliant delivery turned the match.
I never had confidence in Rutherford; in my opinion, he failed here. I believe Lomror should play in at least the next match.
No one acted as an anchor in this innings; Gill should have stabilized the innings by taking fewer risks.

GT Supported very well the cancer fighters and fought against the cause but...

GT never looked in full control today. Especially with Captain Gill not having a clear Plan B after Rashid went expensive and Arshad walked off injured.
Gill could’ve tried Rutherford or even Tewatia; both have rolled their arms in training, and in a game where nothing’s going your way, these backup options sometimes turn out to be match-winning moves.

Once LSG's openers were at the crease:
A. Markram - 28 runs off 17 balls
M. Marsh - 22 runs off 19 balls
While there was a larger total on the board, one of the batsmen from GT's top order could have anchored the innings without taking unnecessary risks.
Shubman Gill, without a backup plan, resembles Dhoni captaining the Indian Test side.

Marsh never really timed the ball well; he was relying more on powerful strokes rather than clean timing.
He had hit just 2 boundaries through the off side, which clearly showed his struggle with timing outside off. Rabada tried to target that weakness with off-side bowling, but ended up getting punished by Markram, who looked far more in control.
And speaking of Siraj; he seriously lacks that reliable wide yorker in his T20 toolkit.
LSG beating GT twice in the same season. Still trying to digest that.

Prasidh Krishna didn’t back his strengths at all yesterday; instead of sticking to that hard length (6-8 meter area) which has always been his go-to, he kept bowling fuller deliveries and paid the price for it.
On the other hand, O’Rourke stayed true to his strengths, hit the deck hard, and got big, game-changing wickets; the kind that could’ve completely tilted the game in GT’s favour.
What. He. Did. Was. Tough.

Reports of Rapa being fit for RCB today
Bad news already
It should have been krunal or someone else here
Well who knows he might step up , although the worst batter of RCB

Yesterday, SRK shown that GT are not dependent on their 2 or 3 players. Their middle order is also a strong side. I always feel that SRK has capability to make his team win. Along with Tewatia, Sherfane & Now Kusal to come so far..
