To solve that, you can create portfolio projects using AI-generated briefs. These briefs simulate real client requests so you can design branding projects as if they were real companies.

The goal is to build a diverse portfolio — so when a client from tech, hospitality, fashion, or FMCG approaches you, you already have something relevant to show.

Recently we were tasked to design Logo for a company that works in Ai and Robotics. The client didn’t like what we created, so we thought why don’t we share the brief here and you guys can give it a try if you have time.

How do you test if your logo works?

SOOOO since no one wants to spill the tea, let us tell you our way

First we check if the logo works in black and white after that we put it in different mocups to test its scalability. If it can work in small and large scale, the third one is we show it to stranger or a friend then after an hour or so, we ask them to sketch it from memory, this is to check if the logo is simple and recognizable or distinct. These are the main tests.

Besides these we sometimes do a mirror test, which is we flip the logo and check if it is still balanced. Seeing it from different prespective helps in checking the balance. The last one is not actually a test, but you should check if the logo is appropriate to the brand. For example if you are designing logo for a tech company, the logo shouldn't feel fun or corky. The logo you create should evoke the feeling of the brand personality, and how we test that is by asking a group of people what feeling do they feel when looking at the logo for the first time.
