Iceland has been rocked by a new eruption!

👀‼️ It started on May 29, 2024 near Sundnukur north of Grindavik, Reykjanes Peninsula. The eruption occurs in the same area as previous eruptions (March/April 2024) and was preceded by a swarm of earthquakes. An emergency evacuation of the local population has been carried out.
