We can finally reveal that our office space got a (very) warm reboot last weekend 🔥🎉
From now on, Creative Coding Utrecht will be nesting in the Boomhut, a multi-story creative hub right in the middle of Hof van Cartesius. Our new, multifunctional space will host workshops, performances, exhibitions, artist residencies, and much more. We will miss our old office at De Havenloods, but we are looking forward to becoming part of the Hof ecosystem and to welcoming you in our brand new spot ✨

Our website just got a full makeover! Behind the scenes, our very own Sietse van der Meer has been building the new online space for all things Creative Coding based on the design of Frosnapers, the creator of CCU’s visual identity. And don’t worry: although we do love us some Permacomputing, we left Clippy at home for this one.

Autumn is coming! And so are our monthly community meetups. We start off with a collaboration with NL_CL on September 12th in our brand new office space.
During this meetup, we will get together to talk about live coding. Anyone is welcome to take the HDMI cable and present their work-in-progress, display the issues they’ve been running into, and show their solutions! We will end the night with an open-stage jam, where we will be experimenting with live coded music and visuals.
Everyone is welcome to join the conversation, no previous coding experience is necessary. Come and hang out!
