The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is set to launch two missions in July 2023 - Chandrayaan 3 and Aditya L1.
Chandrayaan 3 will be the third moon mission and will have a lander and a rover, while Aditya L1 will be India's first-ever space mission to the sun.
The Aditya L1 mission aims to study the solar atmosphere and its impact on Earth.
The total budget for Aditya L1 is around Rs 378 crore, while the budget for Chandrayaan 3 is around Rs 615 crore.

A bug in the fixed buffer registration code for io_uring (io_sqe_buffer_register in io_uring/rsrc.c) allows OOB access to physical memory beyond the end of the buffer. This can be used to achieve full LPE.
Bug reproduction steps(PoC exploit attached):
1๏ธโฃ Create a memfd
2๏ธโฃ fallocate a single page in that file descriptor
3๏ธโฃ Use MAP_FIXED to map this page repeatedly, in consecutive locations
4๏ธโฃ Register the entire region that you just filled up with that page as a fixed buffer with IORING_REGISTER_BUFFERS
5๏ธโฃ Use IORING_OP_WRITE_FIXED to write the buffer to some other file (OOB read) or IORING_OP_READ_FIXED to read data into the buffer (OOB write).
