Covid-19 did not significantly increase the number of respiratory disease deaths for teenagers age 13 to 18 in 2020 according to the CDC WONDER database.

But lockdowns, mask mandates, and school closures did nearly DOUBLE the number of teenage drug and alcohol induced deaths.

What kind of public health policy pushes teenagers into anxiety and depression for a disease that they are not at risk of dying from❓
