“Jason, passed away on Saturday morning November 11th. He'd been trying to shake what we thought was a cold, possibly walking pneumonia, and he collapsed while putting up early Christmas decorations in our beautiful back vard. I found him barely breathing, unable to move, called the paramedics, he coded in the ambulance and I was there for his final moments at the hospital. I am so broken and devastated I cannot believe I am writing this, that this is happening, that my whole life is blown open.”

It is with unmeasurable sadness that Isabella and I have to report that Carolyn MacKay Hastings passed away unexpectedly yesterday. She was home alone doing vard work and was found unresponsive by a man walking a dog on our street. Our neighbors did everything they could but all indications (and hope) is that she died instantly. Her birthday is Wednesday. Please post birthday wishes on that day. Sorry.”
