“Tomorrow I will be discharged from hospital, after being in for nearly 2 months. 36 days at kgh and 16 days at providence rehab.
In less than 2 hrs my life changed forever. I went from a few tingling sensations down my legs to being completely paralyzed from the waist down, also loosing bowel and bladder function.
After several days of testing, multiple MRI, seemed like 100s of viles of blood, spinal tap, ct scans, rays, ultrasounds, neurological testing. The diagnosis is "transverse myelitis.”
