My staff and I have received stories like this everyday for the last 17 months. It’s always the same reaction by the TGA. They do nothing.

The 🧁 was mandated at my workplace in late 2021. I refused to eat it but 99% complied. Around this time, a colleague suddenly passed away. He was in his mid-40s.

As disturbing as this was to hear, management were good about it and gave us the day off to process the shock. We were told he fell off a roof whilst doing some maintenance at home. I didn’t think any more of it…. But I should’ve known better. Last week I found out that he didn’t fall off a roof at all. He was found by his wife in the garage unresponsive, after suffering a heart attack. Died before the ambulance got there.

I’m certain that we were fed the “fell off a roof” line by management to avert attention from the 🧁. To this day I haven’t eaten it and am possibly the only one in my workplace who hasn’t. The people here, sadly, are utterly clueless.

I had my employment terminated cause I don't eat cake. There was only a handful of us who stood our ground. Before the threat of termination, there were many who said they would not get it, sadly, most of them did even though we saw and heard about how sick some of those who voluntarily got it became and one we know of died, another was in hospital and not expected to survive, and another was in and out of hospital, that we know of. Some staff left suddenly and we weren't told why. It was a horrible time, and still is horrible watching helplessly whilst those we love and care about become ill. Lots of deep breaths and prayers.

I was the only one in my workplace too and was chastised by management. A couple of colleagues had adverse reactions before the mandates came in. I had no time to finish my assessments and reports, said it was my duty of care to finish them, operations manager said well you have a duty of care to your colleagues. I was gobsmacked. When I said 3 weeks notice was not enough, her response "oh, it's been planned for awhile"; again I was speechless. This response further confirmed that this wasn't about our health.
