I'm not even sure how to phrase this as it's slightly disturbing/frightening.
I've shared before that I work in hellllth care. I work for a large horse pidal system in the central switchboard department. We answer numerous calls from people trying to reach their dickter, transferring people to payshents rooms or units, people calling in to make appointments, people wanting to talk with a nerse regarding hellllth issues, payshents wanting to page on call dickters, etc. We also answer for over 100 kliniks as their answering service.
Well today was a holiday for many of the kliniks, so we were extremely busy all day long..and that's on top of being busier than we have been since this all began...and it just keeps getting worse with the volume of calls π
Anyhoo...I got a call from a payshent for one of the kliniks that we're the answering service for since they were closed today from an older woman, maybe in her mid 60s I would guess. She was wanting to make an appointment, however, we aren't able to do that when a klinik is closed..they have to call when they're open. Before I was able to tell her any of that, she started out by saying that she was having some issues, but wasn't sure if she should share them with me. I let her know that it was okay..I've heard just about everything! She proceeded to tell me that she was recently in the eee are because she was having horrible diarrhea. She was having such terrible paynes in her stomach too. She said when she was there that something came out of her that she said looked like a stringy white thing. The dickter told her it was part of her in test tyn π³
She said they told her to call the klinik to schedule a follow up appointment, hence why she ended up getting me on the phone. She THEN said that after she got home from the eee are, she had more diarrhea and (here's where it gets disturbing) said that after she went, there were a bunch of these little bubbles that floated to the surface of the toilet water and she was able to see that these things had 4 legs..kind of like spiders, but nothing she had ever seen before π³ She then added that she hasn't felt right since eating the last extra helping of the sour apples.
I don't know if the spider thingys have anything to do with her eating a bunch of servings or not. I've heard of people having para sights, but I don't believe they look like spiders, do they?
Has anyone heard of anything like this?! π¨

Yesterday morning one of my cleaning technicians didn't show up to her first job. I tried to reach her all day by phone, text, and messenger app without response.
After our work day was finished I drove to her home and was met by her roommate with the devastating news that my technician passed in her sleep on Sunday night (Christmas day). She had complained of a headache on Sunday and went to bed early because of it. They suspect a brain aneurysm took her from us but we don't know for sure yet what happened.
Her eight year old son was the one that couldn't wake her on Monday morning. She is a single mom. I'm absolutely heartbroken for her little boy!
I have a very close relationship with everyone that works for me. Our entire staff is mourning the loss of our dear friend today and our prayers go out to her family and children.

Same thing happened this summer with the gal who cleaned my hubbyβs office. She had a bunch of kids, the youngest being only 3 years old, and she went to bed one night and never woke up. Fully juiced. She was younger than me by a few months and her youngest kiddo is roughly the same age as my daughter. π’
