Massacres, executions and destruction are presently being carried out by HTS (Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham) in Syria.

The BBC says it’s “dozens” and The Guardian reports 150 deaths, but from the Syrians themselves we hear the number is as high as 1,800. Casualties are from an HTS-led assault on Syria’s coastal regions with the overwhelming majority being Alawite civilians—including women, men, and children—who had no military affiliations, group ties, or criminal records.

Most of the victims were executed in targeted killings and mass executions carried out by HTS militants.

Video evidence confirms widespread detainments, brutal field executions, and indiscriminate killings as the violence continues to escalate. Horrific War Crimes have been documented. In some cases, entire families were wiped out, leaving behind no survivors.

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

I don't generally like these days of almost forced celebration and commercialised days, especially this one, as it seems to push a feminist message, mostly, and the domestic goddesses out there seem to be forgotten.

Focusing primarily, it seems, on the achievements outside the home, without much reference to the homely, child rearing accomplishments, and that our wombs make us special and serve a sacred purpose (contrary to popular belief these days).

Only two years into my own mothering journey, nothing compares.

The promises of a successful, feminist life, have long faded into obscurity and, on reflection, were all rather shallow and fleeting.

The bitter sweetness of life, as you watch your little one grow and develop, almost too quickly, as you want to freeze each stage in time, in the hopes that you never forget each precious moment.

To all the women out there who are quietly in the trenches doing the most important job of raising the next generation, enjoy it while you can, amongst the endless nappy changing, sleepless nights, piles of dishes and laundry, because remember, this time will be over before you know it and the pressures of feminism will be back, pushing you to achieve outside of the sanctuary you work so hard to create.

To all the women who juggle jobs and school runs, and all of you who have children that are about to or who have already flown the nest, we celebrate you for making it work in this crazy world where we feel pulled from pillar to post, as if we can't ever seem to be "enough" of a woman.

To all the stepmums, adopted mums, foster mums, grandmas and aunties raising children you have not birthed yourself, how blessed they are to have you.

To all the women bucking social "norms" and doing it your way.

To all the women who have loved and lost.

To all the women who lament motherhood having left it too late.

To all the young women, use your womb, or you will lose it, sooner than you think.

To all women, you are enough and your inherent beauty (inside and out) and nurturing capacities make you special and cherished.

To any woman who feels they don't "fit" these intrinsically female qualities, it doesn't mean you are a man on the inside, it just means you are you, perfect as you are, just as you were created.

Let's celebrate women and let women be wombman again! 😘

The Independent Police Complaints Authority (IPCA) report on the policing of public protests in NZ was released on February 18. It outlined that the Let Women Speak representatives organising Kellie-Jay Jeen-Minshull’s visit had provided the proper information to both the Council and the Police as they sought permission for an official gathering at Albert Park in March 2023 and should have reasonably expected police involvement at the event to support their own marshals and security arrangements. They expected up to 50 speakers and as many as 200 possibly loud and aggressive protestors (IPCA, 2025, p. 80 et seq). This was based on the kinds of events that Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull had organised in the United Kingdom. It didn’t turn out like that, as we now know, and the IPCA report is an attempt to learn lessons.

The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention are planning a study into the potential connections between vaccines and autism, according to two people familiar with the plan, despite overwhelming scientific evidence there is no link between the two.

The request for the study came from Trump administration officials, said the two people familiar with the plan, who spoke on the condition of anonymity out of fear of retaliation. US President Donald Trump and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy have repeatedly linked vaccines to autism.

Kennedy, an anti-vaccine activist, has disparaged vaccines for years. A previous Washington Post examination found since 2020, Kennedy has linked autism to vaccines in at least 36 appearances, despite the evidence to the contrary.

Trump, who mentioned the rising rates of autism in his address to Congress this week, has also linked vaccines to autism. In a 2012 call into Fox & Friends, he said, “They go in, they get this monster shot – you ever see the size of it? It’s like they’re pumping in – you know, it’s terrible, the amount – and they pump this into this little body, and then all of a sudden the child is different a month later. And I strongly believe that’s it.”

As a retired academic and a committed truther she has bought so much light to NZ during dark times.

Amy, like all of us, has experienced her fair share of difficulties on all levels during the Covid years and beyond.

Deep state actors have come for her and she has fought back hard without wavering from the mission.

Today we wish her a very Happy Birthday and thank her for all her contributions to CSM and humanity as a whole.

A YOUNG COP ATTEMPTED TO ARREST A MAN FOR PARKING ON A BERM

This video was uploaded to tik tok after a man clearly knew his rights as a young cop tried to get the better of him.

The cop came out looking like a chump.

Here's the rules around berm parking:

Parking on a berm in New Zealand is usually not allowed and can result in a fine. 

Why parking on berms is not allowed -
Safety: It can reduce visibility for pedestrians and drivers, especially at intersections
Utility services: It can damage utility lines and make it harder to maintain infrastructure
Appearance: It can make a neighborhood look unkempt
Footpaths: It can encroach on footpaths, especially for people who are visually impaired or use wheelchairs

Enforcement
Parking on berms can be ticketed under Road User Rule 6.14 

In areas with signage, parking on berms can be ticketed for "parking contrary to a restriction" 

Auckland Transport can enforce the rules on berms 

Exceptions 
In some cases, permission may be given to park on a berm with a specific license from Auckland Transport
