Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna refers four Sanctuary City mayors over to Attorney General Pam Bondi for CRIMINAL PROSECUTION!

In an often fiery hearing today before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, chaired by James Comer, four democrat mayors faced intense questioning from Republican lawmakers.

"Sanctuary cities" is a policy that means different things to different people, but it essentially allows illegal immigrants to be protected from law-enforcement, and President Trump has vowed to end all sanctuary cities. Tom Homan, President Trump's border czar has warned the mayor of Boston, warning that he would "bring hell" to this city over its approach to immigration.

Apparently, these words are no idle threat, and Congresswoman Luna told the four mayors today that they are aiding and abetting criminals and thus committing a federal offence.

The mayors present are Michelle Wu of Boston, Brandon Johnson of Chicago, Mike Johnston of Denver and Eric Adams of New York.

Some are speculating that former Walmart CEO in America, Greg Foran may know what's coming with regards to the draining of the swamp and is therefore quickly exciting stage left.

Air New Zealand chief executive Greg Foran has resigned but will stay in the job until October.

In an NZX announcement, the airline’s chairwoman Dame Therese Walsh said Foran had told the company board the time was right to step down.

Foran believed the airline was set up well to continue its trajectory of growth and innovation.

Walsh said Foran had shown exceptional leadership and grit, especially through the crisis Covid-19 presented.

“Perhaps his most notable contribution has been managing significant global supply chain challenges,” Walsh added.

“These begun with Covid-19, and continue today with the engine issues materially impacting both our Boeing and Airbus fleets.”

The airline last month reported earnings before tax of $155 million for the six months to December 31, down from $185m in the same prior period.

“While these challenges impact our operations almost daily, Greg’s relentless focus and global profile have been instrumental in mitigating the consequential disruptions on our customers,” Walsh said.

According to Minister Potaka, since leaving parliament, Prebble has provided pro bono advice to various Māori trusts, hapū, and iwi on a variety of issues.

Prebble is married to Māori journalist/producer Ngahuia Wade & lives near Rotorua.

Academic & media elites say he is not qualified to speak about the Treaty. The Green Party has called him historically illiterate. Anne Salmond made similar remarks.

He is none of those things. He is qualified in education & experience. He has engaged with the Treaty, settlements, and the principles throughout his career. He is not alienated from Māori culture & illiterate in that sense. His life is intertwined with many Māori through his wife & others.

What elites cant stand is that he & others who have solid knowledge on the Treaty don’t agree with the narrative that has been constructed around Māori not ceding sovereignty & the political movement propping up Matike Mai & He Puapua.

They attempt to discredit people like Prebble because it is a threat to have qualified & educated people deviating from the path these elites have charted. They have to show that everyone who TRULY understands the Treaty & its history agrees with them. Everyone else is an uneducated racist buffoon.

It is a strategy that betrays the weakness of their positions & their own lack of confidence in what they espouse.

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

I don't generally like these days of almost forced celebration and commercialised days, especially this one, as it seems to push a feminist message, mostly, and the domestic goddesses out there seem to be forgotten.

Focusing primarily, it seems, on the achievements outside the home, without much reference to the homely, child rearing accomplishments, and that our wombs make us special and serve a sacred purpose (contrary to popular belief these days).

Only two years into my own mothering journey, nothing compares.

The promises of a successful, feminist life, have long faded into obscurity and, on reflection, were all rather shallow and fleeting.

The bitter sweetness of life, as you watch your little one grow and develop, almost too quickly, as you want to freeze each stage in time, in the hopes that you never forget each precious moment.

To all the women out there who are quietly in the trenches doing the most important job of raising the next generation, enjoy it while you can, amongst the endless nappy changing, sleepless nights, piles of dishes and laundry, because remember, this time will be over before you know it and the pressures of feminism will be back, pushing you to achieve outside of the sanctuary you work so hard to create.

To all the women who juggle jobs and school runs, and all of you who have children that are about to or who have already flown the nest, we celebrate you for making it work in this crazy world where we feel pulled from pillar to post, as if we can't ever seem to be "enough" of a woman.

To all the stepmums, adopted mums, foster mums, grandmas and aunties raising children you have not birthed yourself, how blessed they are to have you.

To all the women bucking social "norms" and doing it your way.

To all the women who have loved and lost.

To all the women who lament motherhood having left it too late.

To all the young women, use your womb, or you will lose it, sooner than you think.

To all women, you are enough and your inherent beauty (inside and out) and nurturing capacities make you special and cherished.

To any woman who feels they don't "fit" these intrinsically female qualities, it doesn't mean you are a man on the inside, it just means you are you, perfect as you are, just as you were created.
