From NZ First:
NZ First Introduces Fluoridation Referendum Bill
New Zealand First has today introduced a Member’s Bill which would restore decision-making power to local communities regarding the fluoridation of drinking water.
The ‘Fluoridation (Referendum) Legislation Bill’ seeks to repeal the Health (Fluoridation of Drinking Water) Amendment Act 2021 that granted centralised authority to the Director-General of Health and mandated the fluoridation of local water supplies.
It will also amend the Local Government Act 2002 and Health Act 1956 mandating local authorities to hold a binding referendum on water fluoridation.
This Bill reinstates the fundamental right for communities to determine through democracy whether or not their water supply is fluoridated.
New Zealand First has always believed such a significant decision about local fluoridation needs to be decided by the people themselves.
Important public health measures such as this should be decided with transparency, debate, and local voices, not by overreaching Wellington-based bureaucrats.
The only people who would oppose this Bill are those who oppose democracy.

WHAT'S HAPPENING TO THE EDUCATION SYSTEM?
ARE WE SEEING A CURRICULUM WIDE MAORIFICATION?
Do you have children at school? Have you noticed a change in the curriculum?
Here is another example of Maori culture being taught through another subject, this time Japanese, see pics below.
There is nothing wrong with learning about Maori culture in Maori class or social studies or the like but the person who sent me this said the student is going to Japan on an exchange trip and they need to be teaching Japanese and it's culture, not maori culture through Japanese language.
Do we have any teachers or educators who can explain the change in curriculum?

JUSTICE HAS PREVAILED IN NZ
Despite the breakdown in our relationship we have always maintained that the way Liz Gunn was treated by the Auckland Airport, police and the judicial system was wrong.
It's good news that Justice Peters saw sense and has ruled that the previous decision of assault be over turned.
Frontline Law has done a great job.
From the NZ Herald:
Justice Peters, after watching CCTV footage of the interaction multiple times over the past week while mulling her decision, sided with the defence.
“It is conceivable that what is considered acceptable might be negated by prevailing circumstances,” Justice Peters explained of her decision and that of the District Court judge before her. “Certainly, the judge did not accept that Ms Gunn could have believed C [the security officer] consented to what occurred. That was because, in the judge’s view, by then the discussion between Ms Gunn and C had become ‘confrontational and hostile (on the part of Ms Gunn)’, and that Ms Gunn had been ‘rude and inappropriate’ in asking C where she was from.
“However, having viewed/heard what occurred (several times) I do not share the judge’s view of the tenor of the discussion or of Ms Gunn’s manner. My assessment is that Ms Gunn was polite, albeit assertive and wishing to communicate her view to C.”

DIRECTOR-GENERAL OF HEALTH STEPS DOWN
Read full article from NZ Herald here:
Director-General of Health Dr Diana Sarfati is stepping down, becoming the third senior health official to resign in the space of a week after the new Health Minister’s promised leadership changes.
In a statement, Sarfati highlighted the “challenge of restricting and unifying an entire health system” and how it was “not to be underestimated” as she announces her final day will be next Friday.
“Now, having made the decision to go, I have decided to leave promptly,” her statement said.
“I have appreciated the privilege, and responsibility that has come with leading the Ministry of Health during a time of significant change within the sector.
“It is now time to allow someone new to take up the mantle of one of the most challenging and rewarding roles within the health sector.”
Health Minister Shane Reti, flanked by the Director-General of Health Dr Diana Sarfati (left), and Health NZ chief executive Margie Apa.
She acknowledged the “incredible people” who worked in the health sector. She said she would be taking time before considering “other opportunities”.
Sarfati is the latest senior health official to resign in a matter of days.
Earlier this week, director of Public Health Dr Nicholas Jones said he would be concluding his secondment as planned in February and resuming his previous role in Hawke’s Bay.
Last Friday, Health NZ chief executive Fepulea’i Margie Apa resigned amid the entity’s search for a new chief executive as Apa approached the end of her term.

EYE-WATERING MOMENT: RFK Jr. delivers an emotional tribute to President Trump after being sworn in as HHS Secretary.
“For 20 years, I’ve gotten up every morning on my knees and prayed that God would put me in a position where I could end the childhood chronic disease epidemic in this country. On August 23rd of last year, God sent me President Trump.
“He’s now given me—he’s kept every promise that he’s made to me. He’s kept his word on every account and gone way beyond it. I’m so grateful to you, Mr. President. A lot of people told me that I couldn’t trust President Trump—that I better get it in writing.
“And we did a handshake, and everything that he told me he was going to do, he has done. And I’m so grateful to him. And I’ve told you before, I genuinely believe that you are a pivotal historical figure, and you are going to transform this country.”

THIS DESERVES YOUR URGENT ATTENTION
Can you help extend the deadline for the Mad Scientists Bill?
Here's a link and below the description:
https://our.actionstation.org.nz/petitions/extend-the-public-comment-period-for-the-gene-technology-bill
WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN
Prime Minister Christopher Luxon and Bill sponsor Judith Collins must Extend the Say on their Gene Technology Bill by granting at least 90 additional days for public comment. This Bill—which combines sweeping changes to our Non-GM pasture -based agriculture system with unprecedented “emergency” medical powers—was rushed out on the last day of Parliament, leaving Kiwis virtually no chance to understand or debate its potentially massive consequences and now they seek to close public comment on 17th of February.
Why is this important?
This petition does not argue “for” or “against” genetic modification, mRNA medicine or the Gene Technology Bill itself. Our concern is that everyone—farmers, families, scientists, and everyday citizens—deserves adequate time to assess how this Bill could:
Reshape our agriculture industry and threaten the 100% Pure reputation upon which our exports rely.
Allow more glyphosate in “Round-up ready” GM crops, negatively impacting our waterways, honey bees, and animal products.
Introduce “emergency” genetic therapies without thorough public scrutiny, raising questions about medical autonomy and national sovereignty.
IF THIS BILL IS TRULY BENEFICIAL
It will still be beneficial after 90 days of additional fair public debate.
Rushing it through in just eight weeks disrespects our largest export sector and compromises democratic transparency.
BY SIGNING THIS PETITION, YOU CALL ON THE GOVERNMENT TO:
Grant an immediate extension of the Gene Technology Bill’s deadline for at least 90 days.
Provide clear information so all New Zealanders can fully grasp the Bill’s ramifications.
Honour fair and transparent governance by giving us the time to engage, ask hard questions, make informed submissions and consult our peers.
No matter where you stand on genetic modification, we all deserve the right to weigh the evidence and protect our environment, our economy, and our medical freedoms. Extend the Say—90 days is not too much to ask.
YOU CAN CALL OR FORWARD THIS LETTER TO YOUR MP
Your MP will want to know your position, no matter which party they serve. Call your MP’s office or copy and paste this petition and email it. You can your MP’s email address in the first link below.

DR FRE AND MARLBOROUGH COMMUNITY MATTERS PRESENT AT COUNCIL MEETING IN ATTEMPT TO STOP NEUROTOXIN
Read full article from The Press here
A group of Marlburians have fronted the council with concerns about water chlorination and the potential fluoridation of the region’s water supply.
The group, Marlborough Community Matters, wants the council to lobby with them against adding any fluoride to Marlborough’s water supply.
But at a public forum on Tuesday, one councillor argued the “science prevails” before being met with heckling from the group which had packed out the council’s public gallery.
To date, the Director-General of Health had not made any directive to add fluoride to Marlborough’s water, although it was being “actively considered” according to the Ministry of Health.
Two members of Marlborough Community Matters presented to the public forum.
Marlborough Community Matters member Cindy Haider told the council she recently moved back to Blenheim after living overseas for many years...
She said Marlborough Community Matters felt the mandatory fluoridation by the Government “without consent is both unethical and totalitarian”, making claims such as fluoride did not work by swallowing, any dose could not be guaranteed as safe and that fluoridation did not reduce dental decay.
Marlborough Community Matters, Dr Fre Timmermans, said councils were being forced to start “adding the additives” when it “makes no sense”.
Timmermans, a former Marlborough dentist, said he was a co-founder of New Zealand Doctors Speaking out with Science (NZDSOS).

FREE SPEECH - UNDER ATTACK AND FIGHTING BACK GLOBALLY.
J D Vance gives a pretty good picture to the Europeans of how they are trampling on human rights. He singles out the UK.
What is happening in the US is not going to stay within borders. We can be certain that people-power fighting back on “thought crime” will be a major phenomenon in coming months.
Let us not forget in NZ the role that Jacinda Ardern has played. She must eventually face consequences for what she has done against all who live in this country, and New Zealanders must acquire the strength to throw off any remnants of the “single source of truth” narrative that she unleashed upon us.

During the lengthy cross examination he went through at the hands of pro-vaccination fundamentalists at his recent confirmation hearings, RFK said he was not necessarily against all vaccination but that he needed to see the data which was being hidden. This is his first action in taking steps to right this wrong. May it be followed in all other coutries.
