She writes:

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the move to blacklist these individuals from entry to Russia was made in response to NZ government sanctions which apply to an increasing number of Russian citizens.
NZ sanctions against Russia have included its very own blacklist of Russian nationals and government officials who have been barred from entry to NZ.
While departing on Operation Moscow, Counterspin Media also discovered that the Russian Ruble is a banned currency in NZ and that the NZ Dollar cannot be exchanged for Rubles here in NZ.

CSM's Kelvyn Alp landed in Moscow just after midnight NZT last night.
That was in the afternoon in Russia which gave him plenty of time to get to the dinner being held for the international guests.
It was also a cultural event with Russian entertainment.
Snow lines the streets and is currently minus two degrees celsius.
In a few hours Kelvyn will be getting up to attend the Second Congress of the International Russophile Movement where many international independent journalists are attending.
