MINOR PARTY VOTE CONFUSION
People have been saying that if you vote for a minor party and it doesn't reach the 5% threshold or get an electorate candidate elected (both would result in political representation in parliament), then your vote is reallocated to the parties who do get representation.
We have checked this out on the Electoral Commission website and we spoke to them to double check and they assured us your vote is NOT reallocated.
All parties who don't reach the 5% party vote and don't get an electorate seat, simply have their votes disregarded, as opposed to gifted to another party.
What is taking place (very simply stated), is more accurately understood by discussing the 120 availabile seats in parliament that all the parties are in fact vying for.
The 120 seats are allocated based on party vote or electorate seat wins.
If these are not all filled after the initial total vote count, the vacant seats then get divided ("by a sequence of odd numbers" as in picture) amongst all the parties who did get in.
This means if you are thinking about voting for a minor party, you can be assured it will not be transferred, or reallocated.
It's not wasted if they don't reach the threshold, it just means they didn't reach the threshold due to lack of votes.
Therefore, the big & small winners simply get their percentage of the total 120 seats.
Voting for the party that best represents your values and ideals, with policies that you align with, is what MMP is all about.
In our view, voting for a party that doesn't represent you, due to fear of another party getting in, is the truly wasted vote and why nothing ever changes.

Because it seems the inaccuracy is spreading far & wide and is resulting in dissuading people from supporting a party they most align with.

"Let Him Through" is the story of a man who dared to hold the NZ government to account.
On the 4th of February, 2022, Brett Power brought a charge sheet against our government.
Charges that were based on his professional analysis of the Pfizer clinical trials documents and supported by Rory Nairn's autopsy report.
His claim was accepted and filed in the High Court.
Five days later, Brett traveled to Wellington and attempted to peacefully serve Minister Andrew Little, as per his legal requirement (and right) to do so.
His rights were refused, and instead, he was met with police brutality, arrested and charged. The court case pertaining to those charges has recently concluded.
During that case, Brett did what he came to do - which was to present the undeniable proof of harm and corruption contained in the Pfizer clinical trials documents before a judge. The case was completely ignored by mainstream media despite the Crown's heavy investment. As Brett explains, they have a lot to hide.

Rangi from Mana Media was arrested today at the Labour Party campaign launch, held at Aotea Centre today.
Rangi was protecting a woman from being manhandled by security and undercover police.
He was then asked to leave and as he did, he was arrested but was released without charge.
Inside former PM Helen Clark and current PM Chris Hipkins were interrupted by at least 6 concerned kiwis who feel the Government has ignored them.
Freedoms NZ members were present outside, making it known that they were sick of "Labour pains."
The police were quick to whisk Rangi away from the party conference which is in stark contrast to their behavior at recent events where far leftist protestors have shut down Stop Co-Governance events without arrest or intervention.

In the United States we have seen massive election fraud take place before our very eyes.

Those of us who were watching saw the Trump majorities on election night vanish at 3am as the election watchers were forced out of the counting rooms and thousands of mail-in ballots for Biden magically appeared.
Even in New Zealand, many of us wondered why all the South Island farmers’ wives party voted en mass for Labour just to keep the Greens out, as was speculated broadly in our media.
So, if you are a skeptic but want to see that our elections are managed and run properly, why not volunteer to be an election scrutineer?
