Stuff reported that the RSA National President BJ Clark said using imagery and language from Anzac Day to enhance an anti-vaccine message was “completely inappropriate”.
Whilst we have not used the RSA-trademarked Hague poppy, the poppy on our bus is close to it according to the RSA who intended to seek legal advice.
Despite this controversy and attempts to cancel our Greymouth event on Thursday, the local RSA stood strong as their hall is available to hire for functions.
They stood against cancel culture with their president Peter De Breuk, saying "We live in a world of democracy."
Minister for Veterans Meka Whaitiri weighed in, condeming the use of the imagery saying “I am offended that a symbol of sacrifice and service that means so much to New Zealanders is being exploited by a small group of people who are out of touch with the majority of New Zealand."

GRAHAM PHILIP'S BAIL HEARING CANCELED
At 10am tomorrow Graham Philip was due to appear for a bail hearing via video link.
Reasons for the cancelation are unknown at this point.
We had traveled from the South Island to cover this story.
Now we are lost for words and can only imagine how Graham & his wife Marta must be feeling.
Many supporters were expected to attend.

Despite the cancelation of the bail hearing today, a number of people turned up in support regardless.
Graham faces seven counts of sabotage and is represented by Frontline Law.

There will also be a car boot sale on July 3rd at the local market at Northcroft Reserve in Taupo to help raise funds for Graham’s legal battle.

Our Government told parents, ad nauseam, that the vaccines are “safe and effective”. The Government has even gone so far to say:
“Safety of the Pfizer vaccine: The Pfizer vaccine for 5 to 11-year-olds has been through clinical trials with children in this age group....No clinical trials were skipped and no corners were cut in the testing of its safety.”
Not even Pfizer makes such claims.
