🇷🇺 Russia Imports Over 100,000 Central Asian Migrants to Work in Ukraine
Russia is trying to alter the demographics in occupied areas of Ukraine by relocating 100,000 migrants from Central Asia, a government agency claimed on Nov. 29.
Most of these Central Asian migrants work in construction, but Russia's plan is to mobilize them in exchange for citizenship.
Jobs in Ukraine are advertised on websites, Telegram groups, and other Russian social media. Migrants also hear about work opportunities from their employers or by word of mouth from fellow Central Asian workers.

Counter-Currents just survived yet another round of deplatforming. This time we were debanked. Fortunately, we quickly found a solution, but unfortunately, in setting up our new system, we were not able to retain many of our existing recurring donations. So, alas, we must ask that all of you who were donating to us in this way initiate a new donation through our new system. And if you haven't been donating to Counter-Currents but were thinking of doing so, now is the time, as we don't know what might happen to us next. Appealed the ban of my @DrGregJohnson account on Twitter and had it restored within a couple hours. But for some reason, I have to wait 12 hours for it to be functional, because I broke unspecified rules. Whatever. It was just a personal account and had fewer than 2,000 followers, which I built up after the CC Account @NewRightAmerica was banned. I want that back, as it had close to 24K followers when it was taken down.
