Pat Condell was once an atheist comedian whose shtick involved things like mocking Christians who would still deny evolution despite all the evidence in the world backing it up.

On Twitter, people are providing him with hundreds of examples of Jews' involvement in mass immigration. Yet despite being presented with mountains of evidence, he still refuses to believe this could be true. Like creationists of old, it's not that Pat can't see the evidence, it's that he can't bring himself to believe it because it would destroy his boomer worldview.

So again, the guys who built their careers (and egos) on presenting themselves as "rational skeptics" who only believe "science" and "evidence" are proven just as ideological as any religious fundamentalist. To his credit, Pat isn't nearly as bad as some of the other New Atheists, but I'll never get tired of pointing out how much of a fraud those guys were.

Only one episode of it aired over 30 years ago before it was cancelled, but Heil Honey, I'm Home is still remembered as one of the most bizarre and transgressive concepts for a weekly sitcom in comedy history. Travis LeBlanc offers the full story of how it came about and what its creators have said about it since. https://counter-currents.com/2023/11/heil-honey-im-home/
