Cultural genocide isn’t just brainwashing, propaganda as education or destruction of cultural artefacts. It entails the killing of the culture-bearing stratum of a nation.

“Denazification”, which is to say the destruction of Ukrainian national identity necessarily means killing the right-leaning part of Ukraine’s culture-bearing stratum.

This translation of what the Russian government is telling its people about Ukraine shows that the Russians perhaps have more than even 'maximalist' aims here (I mean, "Demilitarization" cannot mean anything else but the total destruction of the Ukrainian state). "Denazification" however, must go beyond even this for the Russians to the destruction of Ukrainian national identity itself.

For Russia it seems, they have come to see the very existence of the nation of Ukraine as an existential threat.

This idea that muh "special operation" is just about the Donbas seems like complete garbage to me.

In a recent Telegram post Dmitry Medvedev denies Ukraine's existence/history, calls them Nazis, and adds: "The goal is for the sake of the peace of future generations of Ukrainians themselves and the opportunity to finally build an open Eurasia - from Lisbon to Vladivostok."

That's the exact language Dugin has used in the past when talking about his Eurasian Empire idea. Are these people breathing fumes? They are like mad dogs with rabies. They are completely unhinged barking nuclear war threats because their "special operation" to take over Ukraine has failed.

Despite pictures of destroyed cities and murdered civilians, Russia apologists in the West are still maintaining that Russia is working to avoid civilian casualties, but they are also castigating the Ukrainians for using civilians as "human shields."

I first heard the "human shields" term during the first Iraq war. Basically, when you accuse your enemies of using human shields, you are admitting to killing civilians, because you cannot allow the enemy to use civilians as "human shields." So you just bomb and shell indiscriminately and blame the civilian casualties on the enemy. After all, they could have avoided all this death and suffering simply by surrendering, right?

It is like the wife-beater screaming "Look what you MADE me do." It really is morally obscene.

Of course the "human shields" excuse for killing civilians hardly applies in towns occupied by Russian troops where there are no Ukrainian troops.

And what do we call it when Russian take civilian hostages? That genuinely is taking human shields.

The ''de-colonization'' agenda in which our authors get dropped because of the empire is just one giant, dishonest anti-white grift.

Just as an example, they've cancelled Jane Austen to 'de-colonize'' the curriculum even leaving aside the fact Jane Austen was a novelist and not an imperial administrator, this is what the British Empire looked like when she was writing.
It's a war, not an online game.

Why the sympathy for dead invaders and not innocent civilians who have been killed?

Harsh words for Western fools are nothing compared to what a nation targeted for demilitarization and de-Nazification will suffer.

They'll take more than your Paypal account, Keith.

F. Roger Devlin's essay on on Renaud Camus' classic work The Great Replacement, which coined the term to describe modern France's deliberate effort to subsidize and encourage its own conquest in order to guarantee the substitution of its own people by foreigners, has been sprung from the paywall. https://counter-currents.com/2022/03/renaud-camus-on-the-great-replacement/
