Big tough guys love to claim that might is right. But they have to sleep sometime. And that means that a bunch of skinny guys can band together and humiliate the tough guy. If might is right, you don't end up with glorious autocrats. You end up with democracy. You don't end up with a glorious Imperium. You end up with defensive confederations of small states. This, by the way, is argued for in Book 1 of Plato's Republic. It is the substance of Hobbes' argument for equality. It is also the substance of the formal equality of sovereign states in the Westphalian system.

People argue for "might is right" because they believe that it promotes their image of human excellence. In fact, taken to its logical conclusion, it promotes human mediocrity. So if you want a politics of human excellence, you have to dispense with might is right and embark upon the path of moral philosophy, searching for what is right by reason or right by nature.

They sure don't make Yale philosophy professors like they used to.

Russia shills in our movement promote the idea that Europeans are doomed to decadence and race replacement. They promote the idea that countries that enter NATO and the EU are doomed to decadence and race replacement. Nations like Poland and Hungary do not strengthen nationalist forces in NATO and the EU. A nation like Ukraine could not do that either. Left to our own devices, we are doomed. Therefore, we need Russia to save us from Drag Queen Story Hour.

But if Europe is doomed without outside intervention, that also implies that European nationalists are impotent and doomed to defeat. If they believe that, why are they not personas non grata in our circles?

People peddling defeatism are simply executing a psyop against nationalism. Call them out for it. Mock them. Humiliate them. Marginalize and silence them.

Seriously, this movement is not group therapy for self-indulgent doom-pillers. If you promote the idea that nationalists are doomed to defeat and all we can do is choose between different empires to dominate and wreck our nations, you need to be quietly but firmly ejected from the conversation.

⚔️ A note on the Russian invasion of Ukraine

1. Putin is honest when he says the goal of the invasion is to DE-NAZIFY and DE-MILITARIZE Ukraine.

2. Ukraine has absolutely nothing to gain from the invasion. And the West (our West) has nothing to gain from it.

3. Russia is not an alternative to the post-WW2 anti-Fascist ideological paradigm. Russia is a part of that paradigm.

3. The "Jewish oligarch" talking point is irrelevant. Russia also has Jewish oligarchs and Putin will not end the system of oligarchy in Ukraine. The presence of Jewish elite figures in Ukraine doesn't invalidate Ukrainian nationalism any more than it invalidates nationalism in other countries with Jewish elites.

4. Ukraine has always had dysfunctional and corrupt governments. Zelensky just happened to be president when the country was invaded — no one is fighting for his government. Ukrainians are fighting for the simple reason that their country has been invaded by a foreign power. That's what normal people do.

5. Everyone saying that Ukrainians shouldn't fight to defend their country against a foreign invasion is a nihilist and doesn't deserve to be taken seriously. This isn't a video game.

6. The Western neo-liberal establishment has nothing to lose from this war. NATO has become 10x more significant because of the Russian attack on Ukraine. Sweden and Finland are rushing to become members. Three weeks ago you could have claimed that NATO is an obsolete entity. No one is saying that anymore. If anything, the Western liberal establishment is the party that has gained the most from this attack — while Ukraine has lost the most.
