It is shameful that, instead of using their own heads and consulting their own principles and interests, lazy and mindless frog people root for Putin based simply on the fact that people they don't like support Ukraine.

Question for retards: How do the risks of dying in a global thermonuclear war compare to the risks of dying from Covid-19?
How do the risks of dying in a global thermonuclear war compare to the risks of dying from Covid-19? I need to know, because many of the people who would "pay any price, bear any burden" to prevent a single person from dying of COVID are now advocating policies that risk escalating into WWIII.

Remember how far you were willing to go to save people from Covid?

How far are you willing to go to avoid dying in World War III?
The UK is encouraging citizens to go to Ukraine and fight the Russians. If they are going as un-uniformed partisans, that means they can be shot dead, no prisoners, no Geneva Convention. But it might be worse. This could be a cover for infiltrating NATO troops as un-uniformed partisans, which is a serious escalation..

Why is the Right a failure?

For a long time I've been saying that, paradoxically, the "Tall Poppy Syndrome" (the "Jante Law" in Scandinavia) describes the Right better than the Left.

In our recent conversation, Sam Dickson said it more concisely:

The Left is egalitarian in theory but elitist in practice; the Right is elitist in theory but egalitarian in practice.

The Right has been dysfunctional because it has welcomed any and all who have professed to be opposed to mass immigration, no matter how crazy they are.

When the Left was on the rise, it practiced elitism. Now, however, the Left has started practicing egalitarianism, which has brought it to a downward trajectory.

I'd say that looks like an opening for a more elitist Right.

This Saturday on Counter-Currents Radio, Greg Johnson will discuss Carl Schmitt's book Theory of the Partisan, which is especially relevant given the Ukrainian government's decision to arm civilians to resist the Russian invasion.
