COTI to meet Charles Hoskinson, Cardano CEO and founder

COTI and Cardano will soon be meeting for a second time to explore potential partnership opportunities.

Discussions will be taking place during Cardano’s second MarketAcross and COTI-sponsored meetup in the tech hub of Tel Aviv. This year’s event includes a smart contract workshop[https://bit.ly/2KG1PRR], which will be hosted by IOHK's top engineers, including Dr Lars Brünjes, director of education, and Dr Polina Vinogradova, formal methods software developer.

Directly after the workshop, there will be a special meetup[https://bit.ly/2I8LGm7] which includes a panel discussion with Shahaf and other industry leaders. Guests will also have the opportunity to hear Cardano’s news, along with updates from IOHK’s research and engineering team.

This is Shahaf, COTI’s CEO.

It’s been two weeks since our Mainet’s launch and IEO, and we have been very busy and a bit silent. We are back and plan on being very engaged through this group and our social channels. Starting Monday we’ll have a weekly update, a bi-weekly update about business development and tech and a monthly AMA. Other than that, the core team will be present in the group to answer your questions and debate about ideas quite often from now on.

What to expect in the coming weeks? Here is just a teaser:
We know you all care about listing and new partnerships. Though we’ll never discuss that directly, I’d like you to know that we understand how important liquidity is for our network and that not everything that is signed can be announced right now. Patience is bitter but its fruits are very sweet.

As we believe that digital payments should be universal, we’ll be introduce our interoperability strategy. Suffice to say that you can expect to meet new versions of COTI and new ways to get and trade COTI.

In the coming weeks we’ll also introduce a key partnership that brings real world adoption.
Facebook’s introduction of the Libra is great for COTI. We have been pitching this vision for two years and Facebook proves us right. The main difference is that COTI provides “Libra as a service” or a white label version of Libra to enterprises and users that prefer to not leave all the market share for Facebook.

We keep growing our product as we have applied for a new license that allows us to onboard a vast array of merchants and enterprises. Those who follow our block explorer can now also see transactions created by merchants. We’ll update more on that too.

These are all teasers for the coming weeks. We now move from the phase of building our technology and generating the coin to actual usage and growth. We encourage you to stay with us and enjoy the fruits of this hard work.

It has been nearly three weeks since COTI's coin minting, public MainNet release and exchange listing.

COTI is pleased to announce that the first transactions from one of our merchants can be viewed in the COTI Explorer. This means there is real world adoption and a concrete use case of COTI's technology. Frictionless payments running on a highly scalable blockchain network are now a reality!

The integration of merchants within the COTI ecosystem demonstrates the actual features of COTI’s online payment solution. This includes a unique payment request that enables any merchant to accept crypto payments in exchange for COTI coins. Currently, merchant on-boarding into the COTI platform is enabled for early adopters to experience instant payments, but will be available for any e-commerce website in the near future.
