Scams come in many forms, but are all designed to get ahold of your money. Fraudsters can accomplish this by getting you to reveal your personal details, stealing your information, or convincing you to willingly hand over your funds.
Here are some tips to avoid being scammed:
👉 Admins will NEVER be the first to send you a private message!
👉 Admins have a star (*) next to their username on the group members' list.
👉 If you and the admin are chatting in private messages, check that you have a group in common. You can also verify that the username is exactly the same one appearing in our pinned message.
👉 We will never ask you to send funds via email or Telegram!
👉 All document verifications are done via email.
👉 The only email addresses you will receive COTI emails from are support@contact.io or contact@coti.io.
👉 COTI's domain is coti.io. COTI does not operate a domain name ending in .com or anything else.
