Node operators have submitted their fee choices on June 1st and those have been already set up in the MainNet. The complete fee table, reflecting the current fee for each node is now posted in your COTI wallet.

COTI is looking into the Indonesian Crypto Market, and will be listed on Indonesia’s largest exchange: Indodax.
COTI’s deposits on Indodax will begin on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at 07:00 AM UTC and trading will begin on Thursday, June 11, 2020, at 07:00 AM UTC. COTI will be traded on a COTI/IDR pair, giving COTI access to fiat deposits from the local market.

As promised to Node operators, we have been reevaluating our recent fee policy, allowing nodes to compete and set their own fees.

Our commitment is and will always be to consumers and merchants that use COTI. If we stay committed to our clients, their business with us will grow and that will have a positive effect on the network, the demand for COTI, and of course on rewards paid to node operators and stakers.
By enabling nodes to set their own fees, we introduce dynamics of competition, constantly improving the level of service while lowering costs.

All of that remains true.

However, we may have opened up the competition between nodes too soon. The network will be better having a fixed policy for fees until the number of nodes will grow substantially. Letting 8 nodes which are the pillar of our network compete, may destabilize the network instead of improving it.

Hence, as of June 15th 2020, we have rolled back the policy we have introduced on June 1st 2020 to the previous one: Fees are set by COTI and are network wide. The node fees rate will also roll back to the default value of: min(0.01%, 25 COTI). Fees that were collected prior to the roll back will be kept by the nodes and stakers.
We’ll revisit this policy periodically as the number of nodes grow.

We’d like to thank our strong community of node operators for speaking out and sharing their thoughts with us. Building a new economy, even on a small scale, is a constant learning experience and we’re happy to learn.

COTI's Trustchain is the base infrastructure for our systems and products. We have recently introduced our growth plan, product roadmap, and the new COTI Pay ecosystem. Supporting such an extensive growth of our processing volumes will require fortifying our network. Hence, it's time for Trustchain 2.0!
