Friday is the best day of the week

Abu Hurayrah (May Allah raise his rank) reported that the Messenger of Allah said while talking about the merits of Friday: <<There is a time on Friday at which a Muslim supplicates Allah and he will be granted whatever he supplicates for. >> And the Prophet pointed with his hand to indicate that this period of time is very short.

Friday is the best day of the week

The day of Friday carries many virtues and blessings. It was on a Friday that that Prophet Adam was created, that he was sent down to the earth, and it was a Friday, the day that he died. Friday is also a day when our supplications to Allah are most likely to be answered. It is also on a Friday that the onset of the Last Hour will begin. Allah has made this day the best day of the week. Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him has mentioned in many hadiths the various characteristics of this day.
It was narrated from Aws Ibn Aws that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: <<The best of your days is Friday. On that day Adam (peace be upon him) was created; on that day he died; on that day the Horn will be blown and on that day the inhabitants of the Skies and earth will die. So send a great deal of Salah upon me, for your Salah will be shown to me. They said, “O Messenger of Allah, how will our Salah upon you be shown to you when your body has perished?” He said, “Allah has forbidden the earth to consume the bodies of the Prophets, peace be upon them.>>

RELY ON ALLAH
Protect yourself from COVID-19 and rely on Allah. As we go through these hard times we are encouraged to “Rely on Allah” and help one-another. At the same, we take by the precautional measures and keep a high level of hygiene. It is very important to remain steadfast on Islam and recite your daily “Words of Protection”. We ask Allah to keep away abhorrent viruses. Ameen

Wise Ways to Spend Your Time
As many people around the world spend longer time indoors due to COVID-19 we advise one another to fear Allah, spend our precious time in act of obedience and to repent. Don’t waste your time watching one show after another! Our time in this life is very short, however our time in the hereafter is longer and has no end. In many verses of the Qur’an, Allah orders us to repent. So, if your sin is leaving out an obligation like a prayer or fast, this is your chance to make it up and don’t delay. If your sin involves a right to someone, then satisfy it. Do you owe someone money? This is your chance to start paying it back. O Allah we ask you for beneficial knowledge and for good health. Ameen

It is not permissible to attribute a distance to Allah

1) Imam Zaynul-^Abidin ^Aliyy the son of Al-Husayn who was among as-Salaf used to clear Allah from being in a place or having a volume and from being touched or grabbed by the hand.

2) He said in his pamphlet “As-Sahifas-Sajjadiyyah – الصحيفة السجادية”:

سبحانك أنت الله لا إله إلّا أنت لا يحويك مكان لا تحس ولا تمس ولا تجس

It means: “We clear you Allah from resembling any of the creation. No one is God except you Allah. You are not contained in a place. You are not touched nor grabbed by the hand.”

Narrated by al-Hafidh Muhammad Murtada az-Zabidiyy in the book Ithafus-Sadatil-Muttaqin إتحاف السادة المتقين -

3) What can be touched has a volume and Allah ta^ala is clear from having a volume.

Volumes occupy places. Likewise, distance is not attributed to Allah. Having a distance entails being in a place.

4) Allah ta^ala Who created the place existed without a place before creating places. And after creating the place, God does not change. God exists without a place as He always did.

All places are created by Allah. The creation exists in a place, but Allah, the Creator does not resemble His creation in any way. He exists without a place.
The throne (al-^arsh) has a volume that stretches over a distance. It is not permissible to attribute a volume to Allah whether that volume is the size of al-^arsh or bigger or smaller. This would be resembling God to His creation, which goes against the verses of al-Qur’an.

5) Imam ^Aliyy (may Allah raise his rank) said what means:

“Allah created the throne to show His Power and He did not take it as a place for Himself.”

Narrated by Imam Abu Mansur at-Tamimiyy.

6) The verses of al-Qur’an do not contradict each other.

Allah said in al-Qur’an:

"ليس كمثله شىء"

The verse means nothing resembles Allah in any way.

From this we know that Allah exists without a place or direction and this is the belief of all Muslims.
