i think imma talk a bit about this place because apparently it is not as normal as i thought it was or something
so, TL;DR: my grandma has a house on the countryside, rural zone, however you like to call it. i do not exactly enjoy the company of my family, but
-being there is a gazillion degrees of heat
-being in the city is two gazillion degrees of heat
-im trying not to die

so yea

the place is very "in the middle of absolutely nowhere", we're talking like 50km to the closest supermarket and also a bunch of km to the closest tree. everything is a shade between yellow and brown, mostly.

until like 3(?) years ago, it was even a better place, but at some point they put a few streetlights and now i cant enjoy pure darkness at night. plus, "close" towns have turned up the light pollution to eleven and now i cant truly see the sky there either. its very sad tbh, but ohwelp. used to be able to see the milk way from there on good nights

anyway, it is like, a very rural zone. not medieval, at least not any longer, but prolly isnt that far.

it has running water in the houses now, but it is of dubious drinkability (some of the ppl who live there drink them, everyone who is not used gets sick) so in the end ppl just go to a fountain that is outside the town for drinking water. also there is electricity for everyone there, but im not sure since when. im willing to bet 30 years ago maybe. and since very very recently, there is also internet. not very good, but eh, im still very impressed that there is internet in that town now, my brain does not process it properly. "going to a very rural place, but also internet. medieval and modern both at once. old and new taking place simultaneously. cant be."

anyway, the thing is, i sent some pics here and there, and apparently "my grandma's house is the best and most envied house in the whole town because it was built like 20y ago and it is made with cement" was not something that ppl expected. apparently, houses made of rocks and dirt instead of rocks and cement are a dying breed or something. so imma put some pics i took now, because it might be interesting

pics of the cement house i dont have that many so im gonna put two that are from a ceiling. pics of the dirt houses i dont have many either because it was a gazillion degrees and i didnt really go outside, but i took some pics of the house who shares a wall with my grandma's, which is slightly abandoned but tbh almost all the houses around here all abandoned now (old ppl who live here die, then their children fight for the inheritance, and everyone is too angry to return here anymore)

edit: apparently, electricity came to happen abut 50y ago, not 30. so theres that.
soterrado con vigas de madera excepto una que se partio y la pusieron de metal, feat birdplaces
me subi a un pozo clausurado que hay en el patio de my granmas hous para hacer foto por encima del muro
so idk. thats the whole thing for today i guess, maybe next time i need to run away from extreme temperatures so desperately that i agree to spending time with my family i will take more/better pictures i guess, if this shit is interesting for anybody
ah and also, yes it is a very good place to sight ufos lol. like, you're standing out at night, looking at the sky, "oh, is that a plane? a shooting star?" and then whatever it is makes a perfect 90ΒΊ turn and continues going somewhere at low-ish speed, and you're like "oh"
