i just clicked "leave channel" a bunch of times and my unread messages count is now ~200.000 lower
typical human hand skeleton.
in blue, the finger bones that, while inside my hand, i have been able to crack for years. but now im starting to crack on the middle ones as well. i didnt knew that was possible. i didnt even think it was. but since idk maybe a week ago, im accidentally cracking and oh welp
mostly all the other pictured things crack, too, since long ago. including "i can crack all of my fingers in like six different points/ways (except for the thumb)", and "my wrist is noisier than an old door at times" (and "i can crack all fingers once or twice without external pressure, just by flexing them, without forcing them against any surface/the other hand/other fingers)
im a clicketyclack

I hate doing Google’s CAPTCHAs.
[...]
Part of it is the sheer hassle of repeatedly identifying objects — traffic lights, staircases, palm trees and buses — just so I can finish a web search. I also don’t like being forced to donate free labor to AI companies to help train their visual-recognition systems.
[...]
This is why CAPTCHA photos are a nonstop brutalist slideshow of metal and concrete. It is as if someone took you on a tour of a lovely scenic town, but strapped you into horse blinders and forced you to stare only at fire hydrants.
[...]
They weren’t taken by humans, and they weren’t taken for humans. They are by AI, for AI. They thus lack any sense of human composition or human audience. They are creations of utterly bloodless industrial logic. Google’s CAPTCHA images demand you to look at the world the way an AI does.
