randm things that i have learned not thanks to teachers:

plant roots breathe, they dont just drink the water. they need air to breathe too, which is usually stored in the extra small spaces left between the particles that form the dirt. said particles are not geometrically perfect nor do the fit eachother together perfectly. those spaces are filled with air.

if you are in doubt, better to water a bit too few the plants than to water them a bit too much. they do drown easier than most ppl think, and if it really needs more water, it is somewhat easy to see it "asking" for it

flaming new concept i thought of, might be useful for idk fantasy settings or stuff

they are like boomers, sometimes older, but they are reasonable and you can talk with them without ending up drained
