news from my life from this months: this laptop has a very antiergonomic touchpad wich clicks whatever it wants when im using the keyboard because i cant not rest my hand on it. it is annoying to no end.

the "too crappy even if new" pc and the "old, coil-whinning, yellow-on-some-zones" tv dont get along. "incompatible mode". i wonder if the "1080" of the pc is too much for the tv or -- okay while i was writting this the thing entered bootloop. nice and promising.

pros of this computer:
-it has two cores. wooh. no ht tho (of course), but that is still double the cores of the now deceased mini-laptop, and at about the same speed (1.6ghz) so it should perform singnificantly better
-it has wifi? the antenna is broken and not replazable. so maybe yes maybe not
-it says the temps on the bios
-the fan doesnt make a lot of noise, for now at least

cons:
-it cant read usb 3.0 so im gonna have to make a 2.0 bootable
-it is at 60º on the bios
-it doesnt have any "correct" way to put it on a table. either diagonal, or nothing
-it doesnt have reset button nor ps2 (port). i only have one not-ps2 keyboard and it is in my top three shittiest keyboards i have ever had the disgrace to see
-the psu is external, like if it were a laptop, but the cable is about 15cm long

i just saw that they finally added firewire support to ps2 piracy, nine days ago. interesting fact that port had the most bandwith of all the console ports including the network, but never had use. also not so interesting fact i have never seen a firewire device, but its noice anyway
